Community in Action: NM Rapids ECNL Champions the Gift of Soccer
Overview
We’re still smiling from our NM Rapids SC Community Service Event on September 16! Together with the NM Rapids SC ECNL team, families, and friends, we sorted, bundled, and prepped mountains of gently used soccer gear that will soon be on its way to kids who need it—locally, regionally, and around the world.
These donations went with Janira Tucker, Elohim Foundation to El Salvator, to American Samoa, and Sierra Leone (AFRICA).
The Event
A big win for kids—and sustainability
In just 90 minutes, volunteers formed assembly lines, matched cleats, bundled uniforms, and quality-checked shin guards, socks, and training equipment. Every item we repurpose keeps gear out of landfills and puts it into the hands of a young player who’s eager to learn, play, and be a part of a team.
