Soccer North of the Border

Eighty members of the New Mexico Rapids SC GA girls teams spent a day of service with The Gift of Soccer, sorting, sizing, and packing more than 2,500 pieces of soccer gear for kids in need around the world. As a thank-you for their hard work, the athletes enjoyed Dion’s Pizza provided by The Gift of Soccer and received Chick-fil-A gift cards—a small token of appreciation for a big impact.

The gear they packed is already on the move to communities where it’s needed most— including a shipment to a family in New Brunswick, Canada who couldn’t afford many Christmas gifts or soccer equipment. Thanks to these young leaders, quality gear is getting a second life, turning generosity into play, confidence, and opportunity for kids near and far.
