Our First Chapter Launches!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our very first pilot chapter—The Gift of Soccer Foundation is now in El Paso, Texas! This exciting milestone marks the beginning of our expansion journey, as we work to bring the joy of soccer to more communities, one chapter at a time.

Soccer has the power to connect people from all walks of life. At The Gift of Soccer, our mission is to repurpose gently used soccer equipment and deliver it to children in underserved communities—locally, regionally, and globally. With the support of local leaders and passionate individuals, our new chapters will help extend our reach and deepen our impact.

Meet Our El Paso Chapter Leader: Meredith Reinhardt

Our El Paso chapter is spearheaded by Meredith Reinhardt, a former collegiate soccer player and current dental student who recently moved to the area. Inspired by the strong sense of community and kindness she experienced in El Paso, Meredith felt a calling to give back through the sport that’s shaped her life.

“I am honored and excited to launch the pilot chapter of The Gift of Soccer here in El Paso. Soccer has been a part of my life since I was five, and I continued playing through college—it’s been a lifelong source of joy and connection. I recently moved to El Paso for dental school and have been inspired by the kindness and strong sense of community within this unique region. Through this chapter, I hope to give back in a meaningful way by sharing my passion for soccer and helping others discover and grow their own love for the game by receiving the proper equipment and support they need.”

“We are deeply thankful to Meredith for stepping forward as a leader and bringing The Gift of Soccer’s mission to life in El Paso. Her passion and dedication are truly inspiring, and we’re excited to see the impact she’ll make in the lives of children—both locally and around the world.”

A New Chapter, A Shared Goal

The Gift of Soccer’s chapter program is designed to empower community leaders like Meredith to organize local gear drives, raise awareness, and help distribute equipment to youth in need. Each chapter becomes a hub for giving—connecting donors, volunteers, and children through the shared love of soccer.

El Paso is just the beginning. This pilot chapter will help us build a framework for launching additional chapters in new cities across the U.S. and beyond. With every piece of gear donated, we’re building bridges—uniting people, breaking down barriers, and offering hope through the beautiful game.
