Abigail Saks’ Bat Mitzvah Project:
Sharing the Game I Love
I started playing soccer when I was five years old, and it has become a big part of my life. Soccer has taught me teamwork and I have made so many friends playing the game I love. For my Bat Mitzvah project, I want other kids to experience the same happiness and connections.
Help give more children the chance to play by:
• Saving your bottles and cans for me to redeem and support my mitzvah project
• Make a donation directly to The Gift of Soccer Foundation
Every dollar makes a difference and helps another child have the chance to discover friendship and a chance to step onto the field to play soccer.

Partnering with The Gift of Soccer is a meaningful Mitzvah project because it channels the simple act of giving into real, tangible change. By raising funds, collecting gently used cleats, jerseys, and balls, your community extends the life of loved equipment and opens doors for children who are eager to play but lack resources. This is a hands-on way to practice tikkun olam—inviting friends, and family to share what they have, reduce waste, and uplift others.
Most of all, it reminds us that generosity—whether a single ball or a full bag of gear—can spark joy, build confidence, and create a lasting ripple of kindness.
