Why? – Teaming Up to Give the Gift of Soccer
Sonny G Academy is proud to partner with The Gift of Soccer Foundation in a meaningful initiative to collect and repurpose gently used soccer uniforms and gear. As a club that believes in responsibility both on and off the field, Sonny G Academy is taking action to ensure that no piece of equipment goes to waste—and that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to experience the joy of the game.
Through this gear drive, players and families are encouraged to donate cleats, uniforms, balls, and other equipment that may no longer be in use but still have so much to give. These donations will be sent to underserved communities around the world—bringing smiles, creating opportunities, and building the next generation of soccer lovers.
By participating in this initiative, Sonny G Academy is setting a powerful example of what it means to be a conscious, community-driven organization—one that values sustainability, global impact, and the transformative power of sport.
Let’s change the world together—one jersey, one ball, one child at a time.
