Simsbury U11 Girls Storm –
Gear Collection Drive
The Simsbury Soccer Club is a non-profit organization that runs the soccer programs for Simsbury school children in first grade through high school. We have anywhere from 1,100 to 1,300 children participating in our programs in both the fall and spring seasons. We are one of the largest youth soccer clubs in Connecticut with an excellent reputation and tradition. We are proud of the quality and diversity of our programs, and the enjoyment we provide to children who want to play soccer. We view soccer as a vehicle for teaching children some important life lessons about doing your best, respecting yourself and others, and being a team player, while at the same time having fun.

Why? – Teaming Up to Give the Gift of Soccer
Simsbury U11 Girls Storm is proud to partner with The Gift of Soccer Foundation in a meaningful initiative to collect and repurpose gently used soccer uniforms and gear. As a club that believes in responsibility both on and off the field, Simsbury U11 Girls Storm is taking action to ensure that no piece of equipment goes to waste—and that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to experience the joy of the game.
Through this gear drive, players and families are encouraged to donate cleats, uniforms, balls, and other equipment that may no longer be in use but still have so much to give. These donations will be sent to underserved communities around the world—bringing smiles, creating opportunities, and building the next generation of soccer lovers.
By participating in this initiative, Simsbury U11 Girls Storm is setting a powerful example of what it means to be a conscious, community-driven organization—one that values sustainability, global impact, and the transformative power of sport.
Let’s change the world together—one jersey, one ball, one child at a time.
