ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — May 6, 2026

The Gift of Soccer Foundation is proud to announce a new summer initiative in collaboration with McDonald’s in the Midwest, represented by SeyferthPR, to host a series of free youth soccer clinics designed to give children the opportunity to play, learn, and experience the joy of soccer in a welcoming, community-centered environment.

The clinics will serve children ages 5–12 and are designed to make soccer accessible, fun, and encouraging for young players of all experience levels. Each clinic will include age-appropriate soccer activities, skill-building stations, community engagement, and special experiences created to make the day memorable for participating families.

Each participating child will receive a custom clinic jersey and a Gift of Soccer cinch sack filled with special items, helping create a fun, memorable experience that extends beyond their time on the field.

“Partnering with McDonald’s allows us to create a free, high-energy, and fun soccer experience that feels special from the moment families arrive,” said Margorie Espe, Co-Founder of The Gift of Soccer Foundation. “These clinics are about bringing kids together for a day of fun, movement, teamwork, and confidence-building. Every child deserves the chance to step onto the field, feel encouraged, and be part of something joyful in their community.”

The free clinic series is part of The Gift of Soccer Foundation’s broader mission to support youth access, community engagement, and sustainability through the game of soccer. Through its ongoing gear collection, recycling, and redistribution initiatives, the organization helps extend the life of gently used soccer gear, reduce waste, and remove barriers that can prevent children from participating in the sport.

The upcoming clinics will also help bring greater awareness to these efforts in select communities this summer, with specific clinic dates, locations, and registration details to be announced soon.

“Soccer has a unique way of bringing people together, and these clinics are designed to make the game fun and welcoming for every child,” said Ken Levandoski, Co-Founder of The Gift of Soccer Foundation. “With McDonald’s joining us, we are able to create an experience that goes beyond soccer drills — it becomes a true community event where kids can play, families can connect, and everyone can celebrate the beauty of soccer, a game that brings people together around the world.”

McDonald’s participation will help bring added excitement and community connection to the clinics, creating an event experience that celebrates kids, families, and the positive role soccer can play in building confidence, teamwork, movement, and joy.

Families, coaches, volunteers, local organizations, and community supporters interested in learning more are encouraged to follow The Gift of Soccer Foundation for upcoming announcements.
